XLNT Quick Eats

Here it is, the very first BecauseWeCan.TV video to win first prize in a contest!! And what a sweet prize it was, $1,500! Now we can use all our prize money to buy some new video gear (our current camera only just made it through the filming of these 4 videos). Make sure you check out the "Promote Us" section of the blog to help make our videos an even bigger success.

XLNT AllCard

This is the other video that scored us a runner's up prize of $250!!!! We came up with the idea for this video and had finished filming it less than 2 hours later! Of course Mark still spent a lot of time editing it after that, thanks Mark.

XLNT Cola

Just in case you're a little confused as to what this XLNT ads thing is all about and why their giving us money to make videos for products that don't exist here's a quick explanation. XLNTads.com is setting up a website that companies can use to host commercial contests for their products. But in order to promote this idea they needed videos to show companies and brands what their users where capable of. So they held a contest with made up products so that they could showcase the possible commercials that could be created by their users. Now we just have to hope a few real brands decide to use XLNTads.com so that their will be even more contests for us to enter. So here is our entry into the XLNT ads cola contest. Unfortunatly this ad didn't win us any money with XLNTads.com, but hopefully it will still make us some cash on REVVER.com

XLNT DIY

The BecauseWeCan.TV team recently entered 4 videos into an online video contest at XLNTads.com and we won in one category and came runners up in 2 others. A big thanks to Dave Laird for helping us out, we couldn't have done it without you!!! Here is our runner up video in the XLNT DIY category, the other 3 videos will be posted shortly:

Flixya

So it may have been a while since I last updated but I have been extremely busy lately. But there are updates on the way, Wade Hillary and I just finished a new video for a commercial contest but we cant upload it till the contest is over in August. I'll also be filming a few new videos this weekend and they should be up in about 2 weeks.

New Website!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we now have a new website. I still need to finish setting it up, but you can check it out right now at www.becausewecan.tv I will still post all our new videos and blog entries here on this blog, but you can also find them all on our new site.

Revver Film School

Just wanted to let everyone know that our last video (pillow fight) came 5th in the Revver Film School and has been featured in their head of the class section as well as being featured on the Revver blog. So I just wanted to thank everyone who watched our video and by doing so, helped to increase our rating.

As far as our next video goes there have been a few delays in the editing process, but there will be more videos coming soon, I PROMISE!!!
